The reasons for the sharp drop of temperatures in the afternoon of November 20th are as follows; due to clear skies in that afternoon and the presence of light winds.

Step-by-step explanation

The reasons for the sharp drop of temperatures in the afternoon of November 20th are as follows; due to clear skies in that afternoon and the presence of light winds. Clear skies allow heat from the Earth's surface to escape more quickly, resulting in lower temperatures. The formation of frost is also aided by light winds, as a strong wind causes something called mixing. Ground temperatures mix with warmer air from elsewhere when this occurs.
On November 21st the temperatures started cooling and in the afternoon, they were much cooler because the high temperatures in the previous day caused water vapor to evaporate and fill the skies. The atmosphere got cooler since terrestrial radiations could not reach the earth surface directly due to the firmed clouds, this caused the temperature to drop more as it was not heating.it is common for temperature to drop due to exposure to wet or cool conditions
