FAQs
Can I cancel my subscription any time?
Yes, you may cancel your CliffsNotes subscription at any time after subscribing. You must cancel at least 24 hours prior to your subscription renewal date to ensure that your cancellation is received in time to avoid an additional charge. All CliffsNotes subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled. When you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to it until the end of your current billing cycle, but you will not be charged again unless you resubscribe in the future.
Is this a one-time charge or does it automatically renew?
All CliffsNotes subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. We are not able to offer a refund for late cancellations, so be sure to cancel your subscription once you are finished enjoying it.
Can I subscribe for just one month?
The CliffsNotes subscription automatically renews every month or year (depending on which type of subscription you choose). If you know that you only need one month of the subscription, you can subscribe to the monthly plan, then immediately cancel the subscription. By doing this, you will enjoy access for the full month of your purchase, but can rest assured that it will not renew again at the end of that billing cycle.
What is the difference between Complete Notes PDFs and Quick Sheets PDFs?
For many of our literature notes we offer two different types of PDF downloads. Complete Notes PDFs are the entire CliffsNotes literature note, just in a PDF format. Quick Sheets are quick review organizers—the entire literature note compressed down to about two pages for quick study and review.
How do download limits work?
When you subscribe, you'll have a certain number of PDF downloads each month. The download limits apply to downloads of different PDFs. Once you download a specific PDF from a specific titlesay the Complete Notes for A Wrinkle in Timefor as long as you remain subscribed you can re-download that same PDF again in that same month or any future month without it counting against your limits. Downloading any different PDFwhether the Quick Sheet for A Wrinkle in Time or the PDF for any other titlewill count against your limit. The limits reset each month.
How many downloads do I get with a subscription?
CliffsNotes subscriptions are offered with a set number of downloads, depending on the plan you choose. For a monthly subscription, you will be able to download 5 CliffsNotes guides per month. For a yearly subscription, you will be able to download 10 guides per month. Unused downloads do not roll-over to following months and are not refundable.
Do you have a free trial or any discounts?
We have priced CliffsNotes to be accessible to as many people as possible, and therefore are not able to offer any discounts or free trials at this time.
What is your refund policy?
CliffsNotes makes every effort to provide a clear and transparent view of what is available under a CliffsNotes subscription so that all readers can feel confident making the decision to subscribe. Because of this, we are not able to offer refunds for any reason.
