Westlake And Mcgamun
Dr. Marcus Westlake was semi-retired, but he and his son-in-law, Dr. McGamun, were still partners. Dr. Kennicott considered them unethical, telling Carol that they kept calling on patients who were not really ill and performed operations not necessary in order to collect large bills. Carol thought that Dr. Westlake was gentle and scholarly. She made a confidante of Mrs. Westlake, to find out later that the doctor's wife had tattled every secret.
