The Verb Caer

The verb caer looks strange in all its forms and it has regular forms only in the imperfect tense.

caer = to fall
gerund form = cayendo
past participle = caído

Present tense

yo caigo	nosotros or nosotras caemos
tú caes	vosotros or vosotras caéis
él cae	ellos caen
ella cae	ellas caen
usted cae	ustedes caen

Preterit tense

yo caí	nosotros/nosotras caímos
tú caíste	vosotros/vosotras caísteis
él cayó	ellos cayeron
ella cayó	ellas cayeron
usted cayó	ustedes cayeron

Imperfect tense

yo caía	nosotros/nosotras caíamos
tú caías	vosotros/vosotras caíais
él caía	ellos caían
ella caía	ellas caían
usted caía	ustedes caían

Command forms
