Something Wicked This Way Comes By Ray Bradbury Summary and Analysis Part I: Chapter 2

Will and Jim visit the library, where Will's father works as a janitor. After a brief adventure looking at books about dinosaurs and mysterious islands, Will Halloway experiences an epiphany of sorts as he and his father momentarily stand face to face. Here, the first of many of Bradbury's mirror images appears, for Will realizes that as he looks at his aging father, he is really looking at himself in years to come. Will is startled to discover that he is seeing himself "in a smashed mirror!"
