Meaning: courageous

Synonyms: brave, daring, fearless

1. My father is an intrepid hiker because he will climb even the most difficult trails.

2. Intrepid scuba divers dare to be in close proximity to sharks and other dangerous creatures.

3. Sometimes being an intrepid individual means standing up for what you believe in, even when it isn’t the popular opinion.
