What is a Wiley account?

CliffsNotes.com is part of Wiley Publishing, Inc. Your Wiley account is an online account that you can use to order CliffsNotes books and other Wiley products from the convenience of your computer. When you set up a Wiley account, you can use it to order Wiley products online at this or any of the following Wiley sites:

Setting up your account

When you are ready to check out and place your online order, you are prompted to establish an online account. Note that you do not have to create an online account if you prefer to place a one-time order; however, an online account is quite convenient if you plan to order again from this site.

To create an account, you need to fill out the following information:

• Your name
• Your e-mail address
• Your billing address
• Your phone number

You can also select whether you want this order to be shipped to the same address as your billing address or to a different address.

You must then select a password to establish your account. Be sure to choose a password that is memorable yet not easily guessed. Type it in the first box, retype it in the second box to confirm what you typed, and then click the Continue Secure Checkout button to proceed with your order. You are given another chance to review all the information submitted about your account and the total charges before you enter your credit card information and submit the order.

You can access your account at any time by clicking the My Account link in the upper right corner of most pages on this site. You can change account information, track recent orders, and view your order history.

Lost your password?

If you've forgotten the password for your Wiley account, fill out the Password Retrieval form. The form is also accessible from any page where you're asked for your password. We'll immediately e-mail a new password to the e-mail address we have on record for your account.

Note: After you log in with the new password you are given, you can again change the password to something easier for you to remember by clicking the My Account link at the top of the page.

Changing your name, e-mail address, or other account information

You can update your personal information for your Wiley account by following these steps:

1. Click the My Account link at the top of the page.
2. On the My Account page, click Account Information.
3. When prompted, enter your e-mail address and account password, and then click the Log In button.
4. Click any of these buttons, depending on which information you want to change:
   • Edit Address
   • Edit E-Mail Address
   • Edit Password
5. Change whatever information you need to update for the account.
6. Click Submit.

Note: Most pages of this site have a My Account link at the top of the page.

Tracking a recent order

After you set up a Wiley account, you can check out shipping and tracking information on all orders placed within the last 30 days. Follow these steps:

1. Click the My Account link at the top of the page.
2. Click Track Recent Orders.
3. When prompted, enter your e-mail address and account password, and then click the Log In button.

You see the Order Date, Order Number, Title, Status, and Tracking Number of your recent orders. If you click the Order Number, you get more details about costs, quantities, shipping, and any discounts or taxes applied.

Viewing your order history

After you set up a Wiley account, you can view detailed summaries of all the orders you have placed since establishing the account. Follow these steps:

1. Click the My Account link at the top of the page.
2. Click Your Order History.
3. When prompted, enter your e-mail address and account password, and then click the Log In button.

You see the Order Date, Order Number, Title, Status, and Tracking Number of all orders placed through this account. If you click the Order Number, you get more details about costs, quantities, shipping, and any discounts or taxes applied.
