About San Jose State UniversityAlthough academics are important an overall "high quality of life" is top priority at this laid-back Cali school. It's all right if you don't have spectacular grades, although the engineering program is one of the most competitive in the country. Being in the Silicon Valley means awesome internship opportunities. This school welcomes everyone. It's big enough to pack the house for any WAC game, but small enough that you will get to know your professors. Its diversity and unpretentious style help add to the friendly vibe this school sends out.
