About Kansas State UniversityWhen you think Manhattan, you probably think of a huge city island; not a small town in Kansas. But despite the difference, K-State students love their little town. With Aggieville right across the street, students don't have to stray far to eat out or shop, and students 21 and over meet up at the bars. On campus, you can find plenty of free weekend activities at the Student Union or go cheer on the Wildcats at a game. The school has very strong programs in engineering and different environmental subjects, but liberal arts take a back seat.
