About Florida Atlantic UniversitySince the majority of students don't live on campus don't count on finding too much to do outside of class. Everyone goes from their books to the beach. With a wide age range and a high percentage of commuters, FAU does lack a strong sense of community that some students long for. However, the school is perfect if you aren't interested in a holistic college experience.
