About Cal State University-Long BeachCal State university Long Beach is very much reflective of California itself. Very diverse with people coming from all over the world. Even if you don't know many people is isn't difficult to find a niche. Being a largely commuter school keeps people from know too many people outside of their departments which is a drag, but it doesn't keep anyone from making friends. The campus is set near the ocean offering a beautifully landscaped, garden-like setting. This is handy if the students need something to do in their downtime which for many students is much needed.
