Any verb that does not end in -
o in the regular (indicative) present tense will be irregular in the present subjunctive because, in these cases, you cannot just take the
yo form and drop the

The verb
dar (see Table
1 ) has an accent on the forms that look like the preposition
de to differentiate the verb forms from the preposition. In addition, the
vosotros/vosotras form does not have an accent because it is only one syllable. The verb
estar (see Table
2 ) has accents on all forms except the
nosotros/nosotras form because of the general rule of accentuation.
